Chi Gong - (Qi Gong)
Qigong is an ancient Chinese health care system, a gentle form of exercise that cultivates the body's vital energy and integrates physical postures, breathing techniques, movement, focused intention and attention. It has been called a moving meditation and is comprised of exercises that can universally help solve our growing health crisis. It is an excellent mind-body practice that addresses a wide variety of conditions.
Practicing qigong is simple and powerful. You cannot do it wrong. It has stood the test of thousands of years. It is graceful, relaxed, slow, and fluid, like a slow- motion dance. Yet is also can be vigourous and include self massage techniques as well as very specific exercise routines.
Many have testified that qigong cured them of chronic pain, improved their balance, focus and posture, boosted their immunity, helped them manage stress, fought cancer, lowered blood pressure or relieved insomnia.
